There are two main examination sessions each year: summer and autumn.
You will be eligible to sit examinations in one or perhaps both of
these sessions depending on the programme you are registered for. You
should check your
Student Handbook for details on when your examinations will take place each year. You should contact us via the ‘Ask a Question’ tab on your
portal homepage if you are not sure which session(s) you are eligible to sit in. Alternatively, you may contact us via the
Student Advice Centre Form.
The deadline for making an entry for the summer session is
1 February.
The deadline for making an entry for the autumn session is
1 August.
You must make your entry to sit examinations at one of our
approved centres. New centres cannot be established upon request.
Please note that your local examination centre’s deadline for
the receipt of examination entries may be several weeks before the
deadlines listed above. You must contact your centre as soon as you can
to check when their entry deadline is.
